Subject: Spreading fertilizer and then heavy rain

NE MO & W IL
Ok, my retailer was way behind and didn't get my fertilizer order spread this fall. So I have 2 questions.

First, they didn't hold there price they quoted me this fall. As everyone knows, DAP and Potash have almost doubled since then. Should they honor there quoted price? Or do I just eat it? I'm currently dickering (sp?) with them over the fact. What is common protocol on this matter?

Second, they go out this week early in the morning to spread it on frozen ground when the forcast is calling for moderate to heavy rain this weekend. It DID warm up to 54 yesterday, so hopefully it dissolved. What will happen if we get a big rain this weekend? Will I lose it or has it had time to dissolve into the soil with the warm up. This is HEL ground with moderate slopes, but it was subsoiled this fall. So far the ground has been sucking it up, not much runnoff. What do you guys think. I'm going to the farm in the morning to look at whether it dissolved yet.

Thanks for your opinions
