Scranton | Mostly corn and beans. No specific yields, only "decent" or "good" yields.
I guess I didnt phrase my original post very well. Since I cant use manure, I'm mostly wondering if a -50-50 will be enough to over come what are most likely depleted soils and give me the most bang for my bucks. I could go all three years in one, but I'm afraid the nutrients will just get tied up in year two and three moreso than applying less each of three years.
I do plan on liming if required, but unless this spring turns out to be better than this winter, I doubt I can even do that until next fall/winter. | |
