Nevada, Iowa | While there are many varieties still available, EVERY variety is not and has not been available for some time. I am sure there are a combination of factors affecting this new sales effort. There is no question that Monsanto has had a couple of very good seasons with Dekalb products in this area. Syngenta caught a lot of bad press with the accelerated release of it's RW products, too. Syngenta seed production in this region was increased greatly last year and it is reported that they had record yields from it. I don't think performance is the only issue here. My opinion only and I am not a dealer. | |
