Yeah, you can get an inventory note at a bank right now real easy. What about when we are back down to $2.50 corn? Right now banks and the govt will only loan for short periods as well. The govt loans end at nine months and the buyers know just how many bushels are coming out and when.

I dont know how getting inventory notes would not be useful to cash flow in your eyes, but it certainly would be for me.

As far as banks, they are far more likely to loan millions to the big guys than 100 grand to a small guy.

Right now I really need none of this. If the weather cooperates at all I will have yet another record profit year for the third year in a row. Except for land purchasing, my expansion and updating plans are complete and paid for. But to blindly think cash flow wont get tight at times in the future is a sign of very poor thinking skills.


Oh, and dont allow for a govt bailout. I can live with my decisions. If I dont pay back the loan, sell me out.
