| If it was paid for then I would think they should honor it. Why were they behind? If it was a weather related issue or something else they couldn't actually do something to correct then you shouldn't expect too much. When did you place the actual spread order, how many people where ahead of you, was the ground worked before they were supposed to spread it, and did they run out of fertilizer anytime are questions you need to ask. These will determind if you have a leg to stand on in asking for an adjustment. Also ask yourself, would you be having this conversation if the price went down, that will give you a pretty good idea of what is the right thing to do in your situation. | |
