The main concern I have is southern corn rust. Last year we lost at least 40 bu/acre with 2 fungicide applications. This was in a very good bottom field with irrigation. yield=140, 112 day, planted July 15 into wheat residue The southern corn rust is a problem every year on late corn in this area and is only one of the diseases we fight in corn.
