Remsen, IA | With GH anyone who already ordered corn before this program came out will get 15% more seed for free as an attempt to reward early buyers while still attracting new customers with the 2 for 1 offer.
Also, the DSM says that seed not sold costs $40 a bag for the company to dispose of because of the seed treatments. Therefore they would rather get it out in farmer's hands and cut into the competitions sales than have to dispose of it. Not sure how much of that story is true either, just what he told me.
I'm not a big fan of these gimmicks but this is what they are doing.
