Anamoose, ND | Do not put liquid in the row. I put 5 to 6 gal/ac of 10-34 off to the side 2 inches with Yetter coulters. I rigged up a drop tube with a small piece of NH3 hose right behind the coulter to dribble the starter into the coulter slot. Tried to dribble the starter without the NH3 hose but the wind would blow the stream off to the side. With the short hose inplace the stream was dribbled right into the trench. My sunflowers in rows were alot better than the ones that we solid seeded with the airdrill. I think alot of it has to do with better plant spacing and the liquid starter. | |
