IL
Not sure what’s is going on over there. Our county farm bureau office emails the bids from several local terminals on the Mississippi and Illinois rivers every day and Roquette America’s bids are fairly competitive for cash and March. I haven’t sent any corn to them this winter because we had mostly NGMO stored on the farm for a premium at the IL river. Their bids are usually very competitive in the non-premium market. I have not heard any rumors of them shutting down so my guess is they have a gluten contract to fill. I think a lot of the DDG’s being used by the locals are coming out of the Big River ethanol plant at Burlington.
