I somewhat agree with you in regards to soybeans, but I don't think corn is a good short play from here. I am willing to go out on a limb and say that we will see $6 in the July '09 contract before the acreage report.
Beans, on the other hand, I am bearish long term based on the information I have received from local seed dealers and a good friend of mine who is a major representative from a company that starts with an M and ends in onsanto. People are trying to play beans as the next wheat, and I don't think it will happen. My crystal ball says sub-$10 beans by harvest due to a larger than expected acreage increase. (Assuming normal weather patterns)
