I don't know what the Murphy draws but I don't think you have enough patience for either of these solar panels replacing starting current.

What's the starter draw? say 500 amps for ten seconds. Lots of watts, 6 KW for 1/360th hour, 17 WH. The 5 watt panel will produce about 0.3 amps at peak sun. Probably do near 5 watts average for 8 hours a sunny day. 40 watt hours. But if the start takes a minute, that's 100 watt hours taken from the battery, and that could take nearly three days to recharge with the 5 watt solar panel.

My gut feeling is that the single 5 watt solar panel won't keep up. And the battery won't appreciate the slow charge and will loose capacity.

How about a Leece-neville alternator from a truck? It might last longer than a couple weeks.
