| You need to look at the history of the 19teens and 20's, leading up to '29. Land around here was over $400 an acre in the late teens. In today's terms, that would be $8293 today. So, we're just about there. History doesn't start when you are born.
Whoops,gotta have a redo. I know I read that $400 number, but anyway, MU extension lists 1920 land values as $88 an acre, Iowa was $122, which equates to $1046. 49 and $1450.81.
