| I used Finesse for 5 years, then at the "knowledgable person's" request, I switched to Rave to eliminate possible resistance in fireweeds and kochia. For buckwheat, Rave does not work well. I have been back with Finesse for 4 years now. I apply when doing spring spraying in March after the ground thaws. This gives residual through harvest and that is all. It is labeled 10 months before planting anything other than wheat in our area. I have followed it with milo the next year with no problems. Not sure what happens on frozen ground as it needs to reside in that upper one inch of soil. For buckwheat it has to be used at the higher rate. | |
