HYDE - 2/21/2008 11:06 Got a quote today for Roundup power max and Generic The power max is $35 gal 22 oz ac = $6.01 ac The Generic is $27 gal 32 oz ac = $6.75 ac I'm still not definite, but in trying to compare the generic, my sales guy says not all 41% are created equal. It seems the active ingredient that is added at the 41% rate may have 4 pounds of whatever, whereas the touchdown, for example, has 5.5 pounds. So 41% glyphosate does not tell the whole story according to him, but others here said they are all the same. But I'm still trying to verify that. Here is from the Durango label and GlyStar Pro as far as I can see, it looks like the pounds are reflected in the percentage maybe ...so the percent glyphosate really does tell the whole story ... except for surfactants I guess. Never mind ... he told me again the 41% doesn't tell the whole story ... but then finally got cleared up that it really does, it is just that Touchdown is 53%, or whatever. Still he says the touchdown works quite a bit faster because it has some secret formula adjuvant .. or some such thing.
