I think when feeders look at corn, they are mainly looking for energy value, megacals. I agree that DDG is a good source of protein.
So here is my question, not being a nutrisionist. When fattening cattle you are after energy, fat is high in energy but was told that you don't want to get the fat level over 5-6% . Does the fat coat the feed making it harder to digest? any better explanations?
