Conceptually I agree with you, but at what prices. What would have seemed incredibly high a couple years ago would be near meaningless now. Who would have thought inputs would cost what they do. Right now I would be ok with a cap on payments if corn is $4.50...but not in NH3 goes to $1500 and seed is $400 a bag. Seems crazy but todays prices for inputs seem crazy just 3 years ago. | |
