Lancaster, OH | past one or two variables, I'm lost. My gut tells me that genetics and biotech are bringing in yields that are higher and at least with more consistency based on side by sides. It "seems" that the yields are going up broadly but I'd have a hard time attributing all the rise to genetics, biotech or weather.
I guess if you've grown corn for 20 years, you've only had 20 experiences and none of them the same. It makes it pretty hard to pin down one or two things and call them responsible for results. | |
