Appalling? LOL Some of us are just good enough to be real dangerous, Ham!

I am talking pounds Phosphorous, now measured in PPM and converted to lbs about 2 to 1, usually Bray P1 test.

Here 18-46 is 18-46 and 11-52 is 11-52.

I found a good piece on how we soil test in the states if you can read a pdf:
http://www.extension.iastate.edu/Publications/PM1310.pdf

Good primer from Minnesota:
http://www.extension.umn.edu/distribution/cropsystems/DC6795.html

Interesting piece from your country:

Hope this clarifies my appalling confusion to my friends outside the states.

Distinctly remember talking with my Dutch host in Marknesse and trying to convert metric to English on a soil test. What a hoot. That reclaimed ocean floor is pretty rich in nutrients!
