mora | here "normally" we are putting our first application of n on wheat by the end of febuary. but as looking out the window with a covering of sleet on the ground, i dont think green up is going to occur next week. i am looking at putting 60 lbs of actual n on with this first shot since my wheat is not very far along(planted around the 20th of oct). can a guy put the first shot on with the ground frozen and the wheat not greened up when the sleet/snow is gone or do you lose to much yield? just scared after the frost is gone it could get soft and stay soft for a while.
