| We've been about to spread several times, then the forecast calls for rain. Everytime it's thawed out we've gotten 2-3 inches of rain or a huge runoff from the snow. Personally, I'm glad ours isn't on yet. I may try to spread some middle of the week if it gets cold enough. It's darned if you do, darned if you don't. According to University of mo, if you have a good tiller score, you should wait till jointing to spread. If you need more tillers, spread early. We have good tillering everywhere, so I'm not that worried about getting the N on. I'd rather be a little late with it, than have it all run into Mark Twain lake. | |
