Genoa City, WI | Lumax is a good program for corn. If you have tougher broadleaves, consider doing a two-shot, say 2qts pre followed by 1 qt post. Spike a pound of atrazine in the post application if your local regs allow it.
For beans, my favorite program in my area is still a quart of Prowl H2O down early (add in a pint of 2,4-D LV4 for burndown, and remember to wait at least a week before you plant beans) followed by 22oz of Roundup PowerMax. Prowl is not much for ragweed or marestail control, though. For your weeds, I might recommend a new premix from DuPont called Envive at 3.5 ounces. Add in a pint of 2,4-D and some crop oil for good burndown. | |
