Central, IL | You probably can but Monsanto wants it in strips or blocks or something along those lines. Are you going to do the BYE (Biotech Yield Endorsement) for your crop insurance? My wife works for a crop ins company and has been told that crop ins company will be testing for tissue samples this year. These test kits have been given to them by Monsanto. If your test comes back negative your crop ins will be null & void. I asked what are they testing for refuge or Triple stack? Why would the crop ins companies care if you planted refuge or not. The whole point of the BYE is for the "in the plant insurance". I guess what I am trying to say is you better know where your refuge and triple stack corn is in every field. Monsanto's motto: If you make the rules you can break them. | |
