This year the seed companies have the upper hand. Seed supplies are short so they are going to ask for whatever favors they can get away with. Next year if seed supply/demand becomes more normal you will have to decide if it was an issue with you or not. If it is, then you'll have to ask that question up front and plan accordingly.
