West/NW Minnesota | We were told that when they take the leaf samples, they are going to take 10 leaves, out of the 10 they are going to test 3 leaves, then 2 out of 3 must be triple stack, or then crop ins. is null and void and you still have to pay 20% of your premium I believe or get fined 20% of your premium on top of your premium. something like that.
I believe that the penalty for crop ins. is for ALL of your corn acres, not just the triple stack stuff.
Not everyone will be checked, only a certain percentage of each ins. company's clients that participate in the reduced premium program.
