East Central MO-Audrain/Pike Counties | I just pull top water and run it through center pivots. I irrigate it on corn prior to tasseling. Last sample I took showed 7.5lbs N/ 1000 gal, 1 lb.P (it settles to bottom), and 10lbs K. With high fertilizer prices I should probably agitate, but then it may clog nozzles on pivot. I have raised corn on corn for 4 years under 1 pivot with yields consistently around 200 Bu on very red clay soils in MO. (dryland was 75-130) |
