If you have an adequate stand, split app will help prevent lodging. If the stand is thin or has some winter injury, put the whole shot on now. Also your yield goal is too low, Shoot for 60-70 on poor ground and 100 on better ground, so you will need 130-200lbs/A actual N (soil N + applied N).
