| I am not an agent. Wish I was and may be before long. I have seen both sides.
Some agents that I knowhave almost no errors in their book of business. Those errors could be because of the info given them by the producers. You know, junk in, junk out. Everyone makes an error sometime or another. Some of these are very large agents.
Other agents drive new pickups and their wives drive caddies because they have a large book of policy holders. However, the adjuster has to leave his old pickup running while he is there so he can get away quickly because nothing on the policy is correct. I've seen this also. and it was NOT the producer.
My perspective of this whole thing about commissions, new pickups or whatever is this. If you are happy with your agent and he does you a good job where your claims slide right thru when you do have one, I'd buy him a wash job for that pickup when he shows up next time. | |
