Grip Insurance in my county is a better buy than last year. It took about 15% of the acre guarentee in 07 to pay the premiums. This year the premium is 9.2% of the acre gurantee. Yes there is sticker shock when first looking at the per acre cost, but when you start pushing the pencil it pretty much becomes a no brainer as to what the right thing to do is.
