I don't like boiled peanuts John. Maybe you would.

We can grow the Virginia types in a year like last year but I have not had luck with the Spanish types here.

Cool year like 2000 or 2001, won't get much of nothing but you will get something.

Try them if you have time, another legume to help you figure out how to grow those high dollar soybeans. LOL

Don't waste your good soybean inoculant on them though, use a garden inoculant for beans, peas, peanuts etc. unless you have access to inoculants like Carl and Dutch have.

Fun crop to grow, but how large is your garden?

I like those sugar snap peas early.

Roasting legumes is as simple as spreading them on a pan and heating them in the oven, low temp, just watch them and smell. You will learn.
