| bighert has just hit on a good point! "Can you give me an idea if GRP or GRIP is going to pay and when will we get paid"? I'm sure a lot of you guys out there had losses on your multi peril policies last year. you have your money and have had it for quite some time. You have probably used it to pay some 2007 bills or if not to pay for some 2008 inputs. Most of the guys who had the Group products don't even know if they have a loss yet or how much it is going to be let alone have money in their jeans!
As for the fellow whoasked about switching to APH.....If you are not using your revenue policy to sell ahead and only want to protect the family farm, I see nothing wrong with taking a little extra you are spending foe one of the revenue plans and buy up a level or so and protect YOURSELF with guaranteed bushels. At least you are not waiting for the neighbors to have short crops so you can collect. | |
