Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA,
I would plant Virginias for a garden personally, you don't want to shell those small seeded peanuts and then shell them. Too much work for not enough meat for runners and spanish. You ought to get someone down here to send you a pack of Peanut Special innocult (sp?) Barring that, fiind a good garden store that has activity on peanuts. Make sure to apply plenty of calcium to hold the pods. Good luck on your peanuts.

BTW, if you can't make good boiled peanuts, you oviously cant be doing something right. If you want to try some, look for some Hardy Farm Boiled Peanuts. Give you a taste anyway.
