Growing peanuts in Iowa??

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
I think they're good. They're kinda mushy, but they're good. I like them from the can too. Peanut Patch brand is canned in South Carolina. I used to grow collards and turnip greens for those guys. I used to get a few cases of the boiled peanuts when we delivered greens. They're good. Put them in the microwave for 30 seconds and I'll devour the whole bowl.

Most guys put a lot of gypsum out on their peanut land. Thats a good source of calcium. They're aren't any around me. But if you go 75 miles south, there are a quite a few acres. They're bouncing back a little this year. Best contracts in 3 years they say.
