| Coup, I know some GRIP users who don't forward sell, but use their GRIP policy as their marketing floor. They believe (correctly in my opinion) if the market falls, their GRIP policy will pay a revenue loss, reducing the need to sell before harvest. 2004 was a great example of this strategy working.
The last two years also worked well using GRIP as a price floor, then waiting into the new year to make sales (wish I had the patience to do that this year, but NOT).
