If you are in Clark Co as I assume, yes you must insure double crop SB. If you have DC soybeans in Cumberland Co, they do not have to be insured. There is a line across Ill that divides the state as to area where you must insure. Line is across north Clark drops down to north Jasper north Effingham and Fayette. I adjust MPCI in your area quite often.

And remember that you must keep harvest production separate BUT all beans in that unit are put together for loss purpose. So you will have production history for both DC beans and first crop for a line unit.
