To me CRC is really no differnet than buying a government subsidized put that covers both yield and price on 75% of my crop. If someone else is going to pay for part of my put I am not going to turn it down.

For the 1st time I also bought some puts on the remaining 25%-may not do that again but prices right now seem too good to not put a floor under-just like insurace-hope I never collect on it.
