| Dad didn't have it until after '83 when he had a 12 bpa corn crop at 18% interest, it didn't break him but it was close and it was a hard lesson learned. With the amount of money required to plant a crop today I see it like health insurance, I hope I never need it and most of the time it's wasted money but at this point in my life if I didn't have it and needed it would likely be the difference of continuing farming or not.
