| Plowboy is right about the 8500 IF, and ONLY IF you also have access to a row head, because if there is ANY drought pressure, there will be places in any field that will be down flat on the ground. Having said that, I am going back to 8500 because it IS a good yeilder, just be ready to scalp it off the ground. If you have very good soils, Pioneer 84G62 is a very good variety. It is in the upper part of almost all the plots. Do you have any johnsongrass AT ALL? If you do, it will be worse if you plant milo, as there is no way to control it. In that case, beans or RR corn would be a better option (or sunflowers)
