And, I can guarantee Monsanto that just like everything else in the past, there will be violators. However, I've noticed that many times the violators are other/competitive companies that end up suing each other for patent theft or infringement. The folks that are above us on the pecking scale are not without fault. Apparently they're no more or less trustworthy than their customers.
