Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
In Virginia, SRW, I average 80 bushels. All my wheat follows either sweet corn or broccoli. So I'm counting on a little residual N. I put on 25 lbs the middle of Feb in the form of 24S or 28%. Then 4.5oz Osprey and .75oz Harmony sometime in early March. Then 12.5 gallons of 28% (around 40lbs) the first week of April. No one puts on fall N here. I don't know if stream bars are the same as stream nozzles, but we use stream nozzles. We were late in making a decision to keep an extra 100 acres this year. So my last 100 acres got the first shot of N today. I skipped the Osprey and put the Harmony in with some 30%, and had to lay it down with AI fan tips. I don't expect this 100 acres to be as good as the rest. I guess I'll find out in about 15 weeks.
