| Mark, An agent may sign you without the 5% surcharge, if you are meeting all the "good farming practices" of traditional crop production. I don't intend to get into this "contest", and am glad you don't pay the surcharge. (we all used to farm "organic", possibly except for 2-4-d, when I was growing up). However, you still will not receive the true market value for lost bushels using traditional coverage to equal the true market price of organic products, and that is the problem my organic growers have with traditional crop insurance., | |
