I don't rent any land, so I don't have to explain my actions or results to anyone but the banker! I worry more about yeild, protein, straw, and lodging. The diseases we have "here", I can fix with seed treatment or spray. Is blending of winter wheat seed varieties a common thing in the winter wheat belt, or just certain pockets?
