| There is no problem getting your own wheat for seed back out of an elevator. The problem comes in if you get someone else's wheat that is a different variety. The key is having a receipt or certified seed tag to show that you have rights to that certain variety. For example, if you bought certified Jagalene in 2004, but lost all your 2006 Jagalene production to drought/hail, then bought Jagalene "feed wheat" from you neighbor, and planted it as seed, that would be illegal, but Agri-Pro probably would not be able to do anything without really good evidence, because you would have a Jagalene seed tag from 2004. | |
