central texas | i have read the post about renting land and calling other peoples landlord. But how is a young farmer just starting out supposed to get bigger. i currently own a little land but i am supposed to be picking up some rent land next year from another farmer that is a friend of the family; is that wrong. Money wise i am about tapped out so buying more is out of the question . In my opinion farming is n a period of either get bigg or get out. but what about the ones who want to get in. Is the future of farming "factory farming" or should i just quit know while i am ahead. just some insight from a beginner corn is about three inches high and alittle to wet.
