I think 10 or maybe even 5 years ago this would not have happened but it is definitely a different world today. Things like this that happen now are accepted by the end user. Look at the cost of Roundup and the generic's - demand is huge / price is inflated with demand. Has there been huge increases in the production of these chemicals other than transportation? Buyers keep buying and this gives the manufacturer more power.
