Central Iowa | There are @ a dozen lines from 1.0 to 4.9 maturity in production for 09 if all goes well with registration etc. Stine is producing but they sell genetics to many seed companies so who knows who will have for sell in 09. The yield data on these lines looks to be as good or better than current RR lines so they should be competitive with the new RR2 lines. If Bayer does this right it should be a good option to following RR corn with RR soybeans. Lets hope it works. Some competition in this market would be a good thing. | |
