Subject: Re: Who's to blame?

West Point, NE
Impossible to say "who" is to blame. As a retailer in NE Iowa, here's my perspective: The ONLY way to have a firm price for anything in the last 6 months is to take physical possession. What is the old adage: possession is 9/10 of the law or something to that effect.

I deal primarily with one manufacturer, but am intimately familiar with all of the others from my prior experiences. They all solely focused on generating a profit that will increase their stock value. Everything else is just icing.

Side note: did anyone else catch the press release from M earlier this week regarding their profits.

Side note 2: M has announced that they will not offer inventory protection on bulk glyphosate inventory left at the end of this season. Anybody want to gamble with me on the dealer cost of carrying over glyphosate to 2009?
