Hay is just something that you have to have to keep the cattle from starving during the winter. There's a dairy in the area that takes hay a bit more seriously, and one grower that takes it very seriously, as he supplies out of state dairies, and is paid on quality. Most farmers in the area focus on corn and soybeans, and focus their fertilizer dollars in a similar manner. | |
