I haven't seen the newsletter, but in my experience the optimum population for any location varies so much by soil type, fertility and water availability (among others), that I'd be hard pressed to swear to the accuracy of any specific number. In all actuality, the 'low', 'medium' and 'high' rankings are usually most appropriate--all customers can interpret these levels into numbers relevant to their own locations and conditions.
