Subject: Question...is that correct...?

Blvd d'Espair Bowhill, Sth Aust
I get a little confused converting between the systems you guys use, and back into what Im familiar with, so that I might actually understand what you are talking about..
Is it correct that an analysis of 10:0:0 means one US gallon contains 1 pound of elemental Nitrogen..?
I came up with 0.83... but A) as I said..I got a little confused, ..... and B) at this stage I'm unsure if the "10" is W/W or W/V.
I guess if gallon weighs 10 pounds then it would be correct W/W.

Set me straight here.....?
