That works if you get lucky. If you select 100 seds and put them in a wet paper towel for the next couple of weeks (keep the towel damp), you'll have a pretty good idea of why nobody "recommends planting carry over soybean seed. For just one bushel of carryover soybeans, toss them to the wind and get some new seed. You'll be glad you did.
